Don't forget your water bottles and sunscreen as you hit the lakes, rivers and creeks. The water's reflection seems to like to help the sun in its constant attempts to turn us all bright red and leave us sadly remembering the trip. Remember life jackets for the kids if you are fishing from a boat!

REPORT AS OF 8/7/10

Our summer fishing derby is in full swing and will end on Aug. 9th. Belen Ladd from Temecula used Gulp powerbait for a nice 5 lb. 14 oz. rainbow. Nice stringers are coming in on garlic and salmon peach powerbait. Nightcrawlers are also working well. Fly fishermen (and fisherwomen) are using mosquitos and black ants in the cove.
