Only a few days left of summer, officially, and the beginnings of autumn can now be felt in the air in Mammoth, as the leaves start to turn and evenings become cooler. Things will be a little unsettled throughout the weekend, with a chance for some afternoon thundershowers each day, and highs only in the upper 60s. Is it too early to wax up those skis and start thinking about hitting the slopes?? I think not!!
