Shakespeare in the Woods 2017 "As You Like It"
Sierra Classic Theatre is pleased to present the 2017 Shakespeare in the Woods production of William Shakespeare's comedy, "As You Like It." This summer, director Susan Dalian uses the backdrop of the Peace and Love Movement of 1969 for Shakespeares timeless comedy. Come see what happens when busy, modern urban life meets simplistic, country living. And get ready to laugh your way along a journey with a talented cast of actors, where estranged fathers and daughters, feuding brothers, a wise-cracking jester and a host of tuned in country folk are all transformed by love in the Forest of Arden. Performances happen August 10th-20th, Thursdays through Sundays at 6pm on the outdoor stage at Sams Woodsite, 5699 Minaret Road in Mammoth Lakes. All shows are free with a suggested donation of $15. The show is family friendly and picnicking is encouraged. Bring beach/camping chairs, or use limited seating provided.
